There will never be any new water. All the water that is here on planet Earth is the same water that was here at the time of the dinosaurs! Over time, that same water has passed through pterodactyls, birds, plants, bacteria, soil, clouds, and the oceans as it moves through the water cycle. Since there is never any “new” water, we must conserve the water that we have right here, right now!
