"Water is life's matter and matrix, mother and medium. There is no life without water."
-Albert Szent-Gyorgyi, Hungarian biochemist and Nobel Prize Winner for Medicine
Dive in to explore the paradox that is water in our lives. Water is life and it is the greatest challenge to life. Climate change, massive population growth, rapid urbanization and pollution are issues that are putting water (and all of life) under critical stress. Floods, droughts, diseases, and production problems in farming and industry are some of the results of this stress. Put simply, the water challenge comes down to one thing: water management, both on the local and global scales.
